GGG extends knockout streak against a game Martin Murray

Gennady Golovkin GGG knocks out Martin Murray in the 11th round

Gennady Golovkin, retained his middleweight title with an 11th round stoppage of a very game Martin Murray. Golovkin had control of the fight from the opening bell.  Murray was very game and landed some very good shots, but GGG was way too strong.  The end came at 2:10 of the 11th round.

Golovkin, (32-0-29 KOs) won almost every round and extended his knockout streak to 19 in a row.  Murray had his best round in the 2nd, where he landed more punches and seemed to have Golovkin guessing a little.  At the end of the 10th Murray was hit with an overhand right that landed on the temple.  He got up at 8, but was very hurt.  He came out in the 11th and was subsequently stopped fairly quickly.

After the fight, GGG called out Miguel Cotto.  That's a huge money fight for Cotto and would definitely be the highest payday so far for GGG.
