Tony Bellew, who pulled off a big upset victory over David Haye this past weekend, said in an interview with "On The Ropes" boxing podcast that although he is a big fan of both GGG and Canelo he sees the potential match up ending in a late round KO of Canelo.
He went on to say that although he believes Canelo is the best counter puncher in the game, GGG's power and "brilliant boxing ability" will eventually prevail in the end. Of course GGG will have the tough test of Danny Jacobs first on March 18th and Canelo Alvarez will also have to win his latest catch weight fight May 6th against fellow countryman Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. If both pass their tests like many believe, then that will set up the mega fight hopefully in September of this year.
