Former WBA interim middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr (22-1, 17 KOs) has signed a new promotional deal with Matchroom Boxing and will box at The O2 Arena in London on June 25. Full details of his first fight back with promoter Eddie Hearn will be announced at a press conference on Thursday morning in London. Eubank cut ties with Matchroom last December after they lost a purse bid to rival promoter Mick Hennessy. Eubank fought Nick Blackwell under Hennessey’s banner and Blackwell suffered a severe head injury in that bout. Headlining the June 25 card is IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua defending against unbeaten Dominic Breazeale.
