Adrien Broner has a big problem in Cincinnati

Adrien Broner has a big problem in Cincinnati

Adrien Broner may have a big problem in Cincinnati and it's not Khabib Allakhverdiev, it's the ticket sales.

Adrien Broner will take on Khabib Allakhverdiev in Cincinnati this Saturday, October 3.  Broner, who is from Cincinnati, has fought here on numerous occasions.  This time though seems a little different.

There has been very little promotion here in Cincinnati leading up to this fight.  Adrien Broner has refused to talk to the media and has done very little to promote the fight here in his hometown.

The lack of promotion has not gone unnoticed.  Ticket sales look dismal for the fight.  A quick look at the Ticketmaster map will tell you everything you need to know.  There are tons of seats that have not been sold and they have about 48 hours to sell tickets.  And, with Broner not doing any promotion at all, well that may be hard to do.

U.S. Bank Arena, in Cincinnati, holds 17,556 seats.  For this fight, the upper level will not even be open.  This means that the bottom half of the arena is the only part that you can purchase tickets for.  That portion of the arena is no where near sold out.

It was stated at the press conference today that they expect to have a good crowd.  Hopefully, tickets get sold in the next two days.

As you can see from the map below - tons of tickets available.
