On Thursday, boxing lost one of it's great trainers. Jose "Olivaritos" Morales passed away at the age of 60. Jose Morales was the father of Erik and Diego Morales, former world champions. He had trained in Tijuana since 1974. He trained many fighters in his gym including Mauro Gutierrez, Juan Soberanes, Miguel Martinez, Luis Ramon “Yori Boy “Campas, Cesar Bazan, Jorge Arce, Antonio Margarito, Javier Mendoza, Abner Lopez, Adam Mares and Jorge Paez Jr.
