Bob Arum apparently thinks there is a possibility of a rematch if the Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao fight is competitive. “Thinking on the rematch for Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao is that if it’s a competitive fight, both likely will seek another, Arum said,” on Lance Pugmire’s twitter.
An important detail that was revealed about the contract - there is no rematch clause for either fighter. Arum stated that would simply take too long to finish. So, if you thought the first fight was difficult to put together, just think about how complicated a contract for a rematch would be.
It is also being reported that a 60/40 split is going to happen with the PPV as well. The PPV is expected to be around $100 and could see around two hundred million dollars. This will definitely be the richest fight in boxing history.
