Guess Who's Back: Former Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Shaefer returning to boxing

The former Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Shaefer once considered to be the glue that held Golden Boy Promotions together, is making a comeback to the world of boxing since resigning in June 2014 after a public fallout with G.B.P. owner Oscar De La Hoya.

While with G.B.P. Shaefer promoted nine out of eleven fights for Floyd Mayweather Jr. and plans on working with  Mayweather Jr. again as they hve remained close friends. In a recent interview Shaefer said, "I'm not saying I'm going to be joining Mayweather Promotions, but I can definitely see us working together in some fashion". Mayweather said he would love to work with Shaefer again as well. Shaefer says that he has "A rather large project, which I think will be tremendous for the sport and with another group so I want to do things right". Shaefer will unveil these big plans and said it will be a major announcement in the next few weeks.
What are these big plans? Why the big build up and why are we waiting? What are your predictions boxing fans?
