Trainer Ronnie Sheilds says he would "love" to see his boxer Jermall Charlo in the ring with 'Canelo' Alvarez.
In a recent interview Sheilds said that it would be the perfect fight for Charlo, and said they would fight at 'Canelo' weight, (155).
Charlo is undefeated in 24 bouts, has 18 knockout's and is coming off of a decision win against Austin Trout. Trout was challenging the IBF junior middleweight title that Charlo holds. The next mandatory opponent for Charlo will be Julian 'J-Rock' Williams (22-01-14 ko's)
Ronnie Sheilds expressed hope for a match with Alvarez for later this year and insinuated that Alvarez will avoid Charlo, just as Alvarez has been accused of avoiding GGG.
