Mayweather defeats Pacquiao by unanimous decision

Mayweather defeats Pacquiao by unanimous decision

Floyd Mayweather imrproved to 48-0 with a hard fought victory against Manny Pacquiao.  Mayweather used his size advantage and boxed from a distance through the fight.

Pacquiao definitely had his moments when Mayweather would seemingly take time off and stay in the corner or on the ropes.  Mayweather used his jab and straight right to keep Pacquiao at bay.  Pacquiao seemed to hurt Mayweather a couple of times during the fight and went to Mayweather's body effectively, but not as much as he should have.  Mayweather was just to quick and in the end, it was a unanimous decision win for Mayweather.  Judges had the fight 118-110, 116-112 twice.

One thing remained constant, after the fight Mayweather was greeted with a chorus of boos in his adopted hometown of Las Vegas.
