The Best Part of PBC on Spike TV You Didn't See

The Best Part of PBC on Spike TV You Didn't See

After Badou Jack won the title from Anthony Dirrell, the Spike TV broadcast of PBC ended.  But, I think it actually ended a little too early.  There were two more fights on the card that you didn't see.  Both of them involved Polish fighters.
Artur Szpilka and Maciej Sulecki fought after the cameras stopped rolling.  The best part about these fights was the crowd reaction.  There was a large Polish contingent in the audience and they were extremely vocal with support for their fighters.  It was great to see the crowd really get behind these two fighters.  Oh, did I mention, they can fight pretty well also.

On June 12, PBC returns to Chicago with Marco Huck set to face Krzysztof Glowacki.  I can't even imagine how great of a crowd that will be!

Artur Szpilka TKO 2 over Ty Cobb
Ty Cobb looked pretty out of shape for this fight and should probably rethink his career because he didn't look like he wanted to be in there at all.  Who could blame him, I wouldn't want to be standing across the ring from Szpilka either.  Szpilka completely ran over Cobb.  Cobb was outclassed in every part of this fight.  Of course, every time Szpilka landed a punch, the crowd erupted.  Great stuff and a good win by Szpilka.

Maciej Sulecki TKO 2 over Darryl Cunningham
Another great crowd reaction when Sulecki entered the ring.  You could hear the crowd chanting Polska and then breaking out into song during the fight.  I actually wish it would have lasted longer because I was enjoying the crowd reaction so much.  Sulecki, who only has 4 KO's, was landing very hard and clean shots.  At the end of the 2nd round, he caught Cunningham with a clean right hand that knocked Cunningham down.  He looked like a tree falling when he hit the canvas.  He attempted to get up, but the referee waived the fight off.
