Klitschko beats Jennings to retain titles

Klitschko beats Jennings to retain titles

Wladimir Klitschko won a twelve round unanimous decision over Bryant "by by" Jennings at Madison Square Garden.

Klitschko dealt Jennings the first loss in his career.  Jennings fought a decent fight, but for the most part is was Klitschko jabbing and holding his way to another victory.  This was Klitschko's 18th title defense against what can only be described as average competition.  But, it's not his fault, he has to fight who they put in front of him.  However, in my opinion, he has to be one of the most boring fighters I've ever witnessed.  Jab, jab hold is the typical Klitschko fight.

As far as who he's going to face next - Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder's names have been batted around.  I would suspect that Tyson Fury would be next up for Klitschko.

Incidentally, Shannon Briggs was not allowed in the building for the event.  And it looks slim that he will get a title shot against Klitschko.  However, I wouldn't be surprised if Wilder gave Briggs a shot.
