In a clash of undefeated cruiserweights, Andrew “The Beast” Tabiti (13-0, 11 KOs) scored a ten round unanimous decision over Keith “Machine Gun” Tapia (17-1, 11 KOs) on Friday night from Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas. Tabiti was credited with a knockdown in round eight when Tapia’s glove touched the canvas. Scores were 99-90, 97-92, 97-92.
In another clash between undefeated cruiserweights, 2012 U.S. Olympian Michael Hunter (12-0, 8 KOs) scored a clear cut Isiah Thomas (15-1, 6 KOs). Hunter pressed the action en route to a 100-90, 100-90, 99-91 verdict.
Super middleweight Ronald “The Thrill” Gavril (16-1, 12 KOs) scored a fourth round TKO over Juan Camilo “La Boa” Novoa (25-7-1, 23 KOs). Gavril dropped Novoa with a body shot, then got the stoppage with his follow up barrage. Time was 2:08.
Super lightweight Sanjarbek “War” Rakhmanov (4-0-1, 3 KOs) and Alfonso Olvera (7-2-1, 3 KOs) battled to a hard fought six round draw. Scores were 58-56 Rakhmanov, 58-56 Olvera, and 57-57.
