If you listened to our podcast last week, you already knew that Miguel Cotto would be facing Daniel Geale. Here are the particulars:
Miguel Cotto (39-4, 32 KO's) will take on Australia's Daniel Geale (31-3, 16 KO's) on June 6 at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn, New York.
This will be the first defense of Cotto's middleweight title. The rumor going around is that this will be a catch weight fight at 157 pounds. Daniel Geale was knocked out in 3 rounds by Gennady Glolovkin.
HBO has already made it clear to Cotto that if he doesn't face Canelo Alvarez in the fall, they won't be televising this fight.
