Zou Shiming loses his first bid to become a titleholder with unanimous decision loss. All 3 scorecards were 116-111 in favor of the champion Amnat Ruenroeng. From all accounts it was a very sloppy fight with a lot of holding. Shiming was credited with a knockdown in round 2, but it doesn't sound like it went well after that. So, it's back to the drawing board for Roach and Shiming.
