Jurgen Braehmer and Robin Krasniqi entertained everyone tonight. The audience definitely got treated to a good fight.
Krasniqi had some good moments in the fight, but was just outclassed and outgunned by the 36 champion, Jurgen Braehmer. Braehmer won nearly every round and then closed the show with a knockdown in round 9. There was some talk that it shouldn't have been a knockdown, but clearly the ropes kept him up, so it was definitely the right call. Krasniqi got up and finished the round, but did not come out for the 10th. It was ruled a TKO in round 10.
Throughout the fight Braehmer used his superior footwork to confuse Krasniqi. That's not to say that Krasniqi didn't have his moments. Krasniqi rocked Braehmer in the 4th round with a big uppercut. Braehmer actually did a really good job at taking those shots and coming back strong in the following rounds. Overall it was a good fight and Braehmer successfully defended his 175 pound WBA title.
