Skysports.com recently reported that the rematch scheduled for October 29th between former long time Heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and Current champion Tyson Fury could be jeopardized due to contractual issues.
Fury defeated Klitschko via unanimous decision back in November. With the rematch originally scheduled for July 9th, the Ukrainian fighter suffered an ankle injury which led to the postponement of the bout.
Sky sports.com released an statement made by the former champion on his social media account.
"Dear fans. I just want to keep you updated on the status quo of my rematch against Fury.
"Unfortunately, Team Fury is trying to change the terms of an already-signed contract multiple times. To protect my own rights and to see the rematch, I'm forced to go to court."
It was also reported by Sky sports, that the current champion has a three fight wish list. The list included a rematch with Klitschko and fights with current title holders Anthony Joshua (IBF) and Deontay Wilder (WBC).
