Keith Thurman and Jack Culcay get their mandatory challengers

WBA Welterweight Champion Keith Thurman and WBA interim super welterweight champion Jack Culcay have received their marching orders from the WBA to face the mandatories.

Welterweight champion Keith Thurman will face David Avanesyan for the title.  Avanesyan earned the shot after beating Shane Mosley.  Can't wait for that matchup (sarcasm).   The fight has to take soon as Thurman is past due for his mandatory defense.

154 pound champion, Jack Culcay, has a very stiff challenge in front of him.  He has to take on Demetrius Andrade no later than September 20, 2016.

If the fights can't be negotiated, a purse bid will most likely be called.
