How much money would it take for you to step inside the ring with Brock Lesnar? For Lennox Lewis, the last undisputed world heavyweight boxing champion, somewhere around £5 million was not enough.
While being interviewed Tuesday on TSN's Off the Record, Lennox was asked whether it was true that WWE head honcho Vince McMahon offered Lewis £5 million to fight Lesnar back in 2002. Lennox said that the money offer was "close" to £5 million. He also said that he "very seriously" considered taking the WWE up on that offer.
The reason he turned it down? They apparently wanted Lennox to wear gloves while Lesnar wouldn't have worn any.

In Lewis' historic career, he racked up 41 wins in 44 bouts with just two losses. He made his debut in 1989 and called it quits in 2003, but not before becoming the undisputed world heavyweight champion.
Lewis is 6-foot-5 and his reach extends to 84 inches. Lesnar, on the other hand, stands at 6-foot-3 and is nearly 300 pounds. So yeah, I'm guessing the fight would've been watched.
Had Lewis accepted the offer, he would've been one of many boxers that have participated in WWE action in some form or another. Muhammad Ali attended WrestleMania, Mike Tyson served as a ringside enforcer at WrestleMania, and both Butterbean and Floyd Mayweather Jr. participated in actual WWE matches.
