In a clash of unbeaten middleweights, Antoine “Action” Douglas (18-0-1, 12 KOs) won an impressive third round knockout over Istvan “The Prince” Szili (18-1-2, 8 KOs) on Friday night at the Sands Casino Hotel in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Douglas knocked down Szili in round two and twice in round three to finish him. Time was :29.
In another clash of unbeaten middleweights, Arif Magomedov (16-0, 9 KOs) scored a ten round unanimous decision over Derrick “Take it to the Bank” Webster (19-1, 10 KOs). Magomedov pressed the action, dropped Webster in round seven, and closed the show with another knockdown in the final moments. Scores were 99-89 on all cards.
In a clash of unbeaten bantamweights, Adam “Mantequilla” Lopez (13-0, 6 KOs) won a ten round majority decision over Eliezer “Campeoncito” Aquino (17-1-1, 11 KOs). Lopez dropped Aquino in round one. Aquino fought furiously for the next several rounds, but Lopez took over the fight in round four. Aquino closed strong the last three rounds. Scores were 95-95, 96-93, 96-93 for Lopez.
In an upset, super middleweight Samuel “The Main Event” Clarkson (15-3, 9 KOs) scored a third round TKO over highly regarded Jerry “The King’s Son” Odom (13-2, 12 KOs). Clarkson dropped Odum in round two, and twice in round three. The bout was finally waved off by the referee with Odom taking shots. Time was 1:15.
