This was the second to last Friday Night Fights on ESPN2. Thank goodness. Hopefully we'll get to see some more competitive fights and in the future when Al Haymon takes over.
Reynaldo Ojeda (17-0, 9 KO's) scored a unanimous ten round decision over Monty Meza-Clay (36-5, 22 KO's) on the second to last Friday Night Fights on ESPN2. Scores were 99-91, 99-91, 98-92.
Jr. featherweight Luis Rosa (20-0, 10 KOs) scored a fifth round TKO over Jonathan Perez (33-11, 27 KOs). Rosa knocked down Perez in the 4th round and then was deducted a point for hitting him while he was down. He stopped Perez in round 5 at 2:29.
Middleweight Ivan Golub (8-0, 6 KOs) stopped Henry Beckford (2-2, 1 KO) at 2:17 of the 5th round
