While we already know there's only one Ricky Hatton, we recently got to learn who he favors in the massively popular and important Heavyweight matchup between Ukrainian challenger Wladimir Klitschko (64-4, 53 KO's) and British IBF champion Anthony Joshua (18-0,18 KO's).
Hatton first said that he wouldn't be surprised if either man pulled it off and admitted this would be Joshua's "acid test" since Klitschko has been the man in the heavyweight division for so long. Hatton also mentioned the fact that if heavyweight challenger Dillian Whyte who isn't a "world beater" and not necessarily known as a huge puncher could hurt Joshua then certainly Klitschko who is also known as Dr. Steel Hammer can hurt and even KO Joshua.
In the end when asked for his prediction he went with fellow countryman Anthony 'AJ' Joshua since he is the younger, fresher, hungrier and the more explosive fighter. The fact that Klitschko is in the twilight of his career and didn't look very good (to say the least), against Tyson Fury in his last fight, I believe I'll be looking for the same outcome as Hatton's prediction, "go for AJ on a knockout" on Sat. April 29th at Wembley Stadium in what is being billed as the "Battle Of Britain".
