Unbeaten WBC Welterweight champion Danny "Swift" Garcia has signed to fight current WBA Welterweight champion Keith "One Time" Thurman in March as part of a PBC televised card.
The undefeated champion from Philadelphia hasn't fought since beating Robert Guerrero via unanimous decision in January to win the WBC title.
Danny is scheduled to have a tune up against Samuel Vargas November 12 in his hometown of Philadelphia. The fight will be televised on Spike.
This is a fight a lot of boxing fans have been waiting. Garcia, who has received a lot of criticism for being a so called "cherry picker" and not wanting to fight the best out there. Well this should be all that to rest as he will face Thurman in a unification bout next March.
