Hearn: Eubank Sr. made the fight impossible

There have been some conflicting reports coming from the UK concerning Eubank Jr. and Kell Brook.  Eddie Hearn claims that Eubank Sr. made the fight impossible to make.  Eubank Jr. states that the contract was never sent.

I think Eddie Hearn is one of the most inept promoters on the planet.  You had two big money fights and he can't make either one.  Instead he gives everyone a repeat of Khan vs. Canelo.

Eddie Hearn said that Eubank Sr. made the negotiations impossible.  "I was negotiating for three weeks on that fight and negotiating with Chris Eubank Sr. made it seem like three years.  We got into a position where everybody was ready to sign, he was offered the same pay-per-view structure as Anthony Joshua, Carl Froch, and the one Kell Brook accepted - but unfortunately they made the deal impossible," Hearn said to Sky Sports.

"There were certain things they wanted that made it just a complete no-go.  They had deadline and they chose not to take the fight.  There is a huge future for Chris Eubank Jr.  He could fight the winner maybe later on in the year.  He has a huge future, he misses out this time but I'm sure he'll get his shot in due course," said Hearn.

Eubank Jr. wrote on twitter - "I haven't been shown one contract since my fight with GGG was announced.  I'm still ready and waiting to sign.  Fighting Brook is a joke #2Small."
