What's it like to have your first professional fight?
The chances are if you're reading this, you're probably a boxing fan. Just like most professional sports, most of us will never know what it's like to go out there and put on the gloves and box professionally.
We all love the sport and and I'm sure at one point or another we have all imagined ourselves in the ring boxing professionally. We've all done it, pictured ourself inside the ring boxing Floyd Mayweather and knocking him out for the title. Knocking out Wladimir Klitschko in the final round to win the heavyweight championship of the world. While 99% of us will never realize what it's like to get in the ring and box professionally, we had a chance to talk with one person who is making his professional debut this Saturday, March 21. His name is Fidel Andres Cervantes. Fidel was ranked number 5 by US Boxing in the 123 pound division. He trained with some of the best amateur fighters in the world and will make the transition to the professional ranks. So, what's it like to turn pro? Do you have any preflight jitters? What kind of money are you making? All of these questions and much more will be answered on this weeks podcast.
