Stiverne tested positive for a banned substance called dimethyamylamine. He tested positive on November 4 under the WBC Clean Boxing Program. Stiverne has been fined $75,000 for the failed test.
The Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA), which conducts all of the WBC’s drug tests, will design a specific testing protocol for Stiverne ahead of the fight at his cost.
