The highly anticipated WBO Heavyweight title eliminator showdown between unbeaten heavyweight contenders Hughie Fury (20-0 10KOs) and Andy Ruiz Jr (29-0 19 KOs) is off. Peter Fury, who so the Father/Trainer for Hughie tweeted.
“Andy Ruiz junior pulls out of fight October 29th against Hughie Fury. News just in today,” said Peter Fury on his Twitter.
The bout was scheduled for October 29th on the undercard of the Klitschko-Fury rematch, with the winners of each bout expected to face off in the future. With Ruiz pulling out, it will be interesting to see if Fury will still be on the card.
