According to Boxing Scene, Arum stated "We certainly hope that to be the case. I think in talking to Al Haymon, he wants that to be the case, and we do. So hopefully we'll be able to put some good fights together, yeah."
The two promoters don't usually work together. Bob Arum's company, Top Rank, sued Haymon for creating a monopoly with their multiple TV deals. The lawsuit was settlement was kept under wraps and is not publicly known.
This could be a big deal for both parties. Top Rank and Haymon have some of the best fighters in the game and now a lot of the match ups we thought were going to be impossible can now be made.
