TBE Cesar Cuenca to make his first title defense.
Newly crowned junior welterweight titlist Cesar Cuenca is scheduled to make his first defense against Eduard Troyanovsky (22-0, 19 KOs), 35, on Nov. 4 on a major card at Basket-Hall Arena in Kazan,
Russia, Troyanovsky's home country. Cuenca (48-0, 2 KOs), 34, of Argentina, claimed a vacant belt by unanimous decision against Ik Yang on July 18 in Macau, China. It's just the latest notable fight added to a card headlined by heavyweight contender Alexander Povetkin against Mariusz Wach in what is expected to be Povetkin's final bout before challenging titleholder Deontay Wilder in a mandatory fight next year. Also on the card, cruiserweight titlist Denis Lebedev will face Lateef Kayode and top cruiserweight contender Rakhim Chakhkiev meets Ola Afolabi.
