The World Boxing Council has announced that it will address the status of the various weight divisions during its upcoming world annual convention, which will be held in
Kunming, China, from November 1-6. Of particular interest will be the future of the titles in the welterweight and super welterweight divisions, both of which have been held by Floyd Mayweather for the last two years. Mayweather officially announced his retirement last Saturday after his fight with Andre Berto.
