His last fight was on June 20th, but former three division world champion Adrien 'The Problem' Broner (30-2, 22KOs) seems to have already put on a decent amount of weight during his off-time - a problem that forced him to move up in weight from super featherweight to welterweight in a few short years.
Broner announced on Saturday night that he plans to return on October 3rd has been set down for his next scheduled ring return.
In Broner's last fight in June, he was on the losing end of a twelve round unanimous decision to former welterweight champion Shawn Porter on June 20th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
That Porter fight took place at a catch-weight of 144-pounds. Broner's return is likely taking place at 140-pounds. The network, opponent and venue is unknown.
Based on a recent photo posted by Broner, he appears to be at least in mid 160's.
With his next fight taking place in two months, Broner should be starting training camp shortly.
